Mechanical Engineering Manager

As part of the Symetix team, you will drive the mechanical engineering efforts to concept, specify, develop, design, and test Symetix products.  You will directly supervise mechanical and project engineers.   You will plan, direct, and coordinate the development of effective relationships with external contractors and consultants, as well as internal interfaces for manufacturing, systems engineering, and support. 

To perform this job successfully, you will have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or  a related field with ten or more years of related experience.  An MSME is highly desired. Demonstrated successful experience in the design of high technology capital equipment systems or machinery is required.  Specific experience in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry with automated inspection, physical or chemical instrumentation, conveying systems, grading systems, and electrical systems highly desired.  Experience in food processing, semiconductor manufacturing, laboratory or process instruments, and packaging systems is of interest.
