Mechanical Engineer - Machinery Design

As part of the SYMETIX team, you will design, specify and test automated inspection systems, vibratory and other precision, high-speed, automated mechanical grading systems, conveying systems and related Symetix products..  In addition, you will work with SYMETIX staff and other Key personnel plan, direct, coordinate and at time perform actives involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical systems.

To perform this job successfully, you will have a BSME or related field with five or more years of related experience.  MSME or equivalent with three or more years of experience in the design of capital equipment machinery. Demonstrated experience in the design of high technology capital equipment systems or machinery.  Specific experience in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry consisting of conveying systems, grading systems, optical systems and electrical systems highly desired.  Experience in food processing, semiconductor manufacturing, laboratory or process instruments, and packaging systems is of interest.  Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes for fabricating parts and components for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and industries with similar requirements in systems design. Formal training, and documented experience, in successfully applying project management skills highly desired.
