Software Engineer - System Software Development

As part of the SYMETIX team, you will research, design, and develop computer software with a particular emphasis on system level software, including OS, user interface, and control selection, design, and implementation.

To perform this job successfully, you will have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a technical discipline, plus four years of relevant experience.  A Masters' degree may substitute for one year of experience, or a PhD for two years, provided the advanced degree is in a technical discipline.  Relevant experience includes structured and/or object-oriented software algorithm development with an emphasis on requirements analysis and design, experience with the C and/or C++ programming languages, experience developing UNIX and X Window applications.

This position will be located at SYMETIX headquarters in Walla Walla, Washington.
