SYMETIX® Appoints Sales and Business Development Director

September 16, 2008 – Symetix announces the appointment of Phillip Wescott as Director Sales & Business Development.  Wescott is responsible for leading strategies that bring Symetix’s high volume optical inspection systems, grading systems, Continuous Softgel Finishing Lines™ and unparalleled service to customers in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.  Symetix solutions safeguard customers’ product quality while increasing throughput and reducing manufacturing costs.

Wescott brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience to his position at Symetix.  Most recently, he was Vice President Sales and Marketing at World Energy Labs.  Previously, he was a founder and principal of the international consulting firm, Global Market Development Ltd., where he guided emerging companies in the development of international markets.  Phil has held previous executive sales and international operations management positions in several Danaher companies including Fluke Corp., a worldwide leader in the T&M business and Videojet Technologies, the global leader in packaged goods marking systems.  His undergraduate studies included the United States Air Force Academy and the University of Southern California, followed by graduate studies at Pepperdine University and Stanford University.
